You also need a binder to stick to during the season. I suggest using yellow mustard as a binder next time then season it. It looks great though

If you’re going through all this trouble I recommend changing from foil to butcher paper. The foil is creating the condensation and preventing that ideal bark. You won’t regret buying it, even if you only use to paper for barbecue.

if you're using Texas beer i highly recommend st Arnold's art car--got some hops so the bitter can cut the sweet a bit, and the citrus is perfect. Did pulled pork with it and it came out moist and delicious.

Today my son and I grilled some ribs on a charcoal grill, it being both of our first times ever grilling anything except each other and other people in roasting battles. At some point homie, even though we were making homemade McRib sandwich, he wouldn’t stop talking about “let’s check on the brisket”. It was so funny and eventually I started to refer to it as a brisket as well. Lmbo we’ll never forget today.
