Hey Olivia and Ryan. I was scheduled to go into production for an instructional DVD for singers on March 20th. The cinematographer I hired said he did not feel the need to come to a scheduled production meeting. He said he had done "A million of these kinds of projects and didn't see the need to come to a production meeting". I found this odd but since I am new to the filmmaking process I thought maybe this was standard procedure. Yesterday, only 8 days before the shoot, he (in his words) "Need to bail on your shoot because I was offered a higher paying gig". What can I do to prevent this from happening to me with the next person I hire?
