MikroTik product news: hAP ac3

Building upon our successful hAP heritage, the new hAP ac3 is faster and has powerful external antennas for the best WiFi coverage. In comparison with hAP ac2, hAP ac3 brings also twice as much RAM (256MB), PoE-out on port#5 and 128MB NAND for more storage.

I got a hAP ac2 for $70 for my small home network (SmarTV, cell phone, tablet, PC/Media Center and game console) with two ISP failover. I don't care about PoE and WiFI coverage is just fine. I wonder that if the hAP ac3 for $230 is a much better choice for my setup or it is not worth the price.

Just added an external antenna, memory and nand storage. The price is +30 dollars, it is not as cost-effective as AC2. Maybe READY for RouterOS V7 only. OK, the 16MB flash Mikrotik production no chance to upgrade the Full routeros V7. Right?

Почитав комментарии с разных уголков мира... складывается ощущение, что среди всех комментаторов ниже я один понимаю, для чего можно использовать 128mb Nand Flash- памяти... на фоне АС2 (с его то 16мб) это действительно приятное обновление. В конце- концов теперь проблема нехватки 16мб флеша (которая имелась у некоторых пользователей АС2 при использовании/сочетании ряда нужных пакетов) фактически исключена.
