Babies man...babies

Seriously though babies are sponges, they soak in everything.

and yet in this world, we still have a countless number of adults who can neither handle reasons nor speak logic.

I knew babies were smarter than we thought, mainly because I can remember when I was 2 years old and my parents would always warm me of things that were obvious. Like they didn't want me to play in the street even though I knew cars drive on the street and I could hear every time a car would come so I knew to move. But since I was 2 they didn't trust me. Also they told me not to touch things that were hot. I would silently think "no shit". I was so observant but people think little kids are absolutely clueless

I believe it my 12 month old son knows to share certain snacks with me and which ones I like or not and ever since he was a newborn he doesn't take his eyes off anyone in the room, he keep track of people so good it's crazy

I'm surprised it took scientists this long to figure out how smart babies are. If you observe a baby, you can see them reasoning and reacting intelligently. They look at everything around them and think about it. I work in a department store and see many babies as their parents shop. I usually smile and wave at them and they always see me and react because they are always curious about everything around them in an environment with so many new things to see. Babies are basically learning machines. What else have they got to do with their time but observe the world around them and think and learn about it?

I remember one time when someone let me hold their kid. He wrapped arms around my neck and I felt this strange sensation of both sickness and longing and it was a powerful sense that lingered long after we all went our separate ways. Feeling discomfort I shook off the sense, the next time I saw the kid he hid from me. I had rejected his bonding....

I'm sorry, but you only have to be an observant parent to realise that your baby is actually very aware and are very smart. I saw this in both my daughters... people thought I was mad when I told them they understand more than they think... >_>; My daughters have always been so empathetic as well... My daughters would always rub my arm when I felt low... or held my face. Since about 6 months old in both I was able to see how they would concentrate like this... We are all told certain things and as a collective species believe in what we're told. Sometimes we should think harder for ourselves!! So on this occasion Dnews... Thank you for confirming something I was already aware of. ;D

Why do some videos get uploaded, deleted, then re-uploaded?

My Baby is only 4 months old tomorrow on March 14 2016... he understands what we say and responds to us. David has been speaking some sign language words since he was 3 months old, standing up while you hold his hands, saying Mom since 2 months old & he held his head up and looked at us or the first time while holding him when he was only 2 days old! My Baby David Gabriel is crazy intelligent! I just posted our first video of developement today! I will be posting more very often!

Sure I was a crazy smart baby. I tried to study plants but my parents lifted me away and tried to confine me to this chair prison. No no no. That was not enough to stop me. I learned about the power of sudden movement and humped my way to the plant so I could figure out how it worked.

my son, who is on the autism spectrum, loves books. there is this one book we read...& didn't read that book again until a couple months later..i accidentally skipped a page as it was slightly stuck together...& he remembered the skipped page & put the page back...also recently (he's 6 now) we were looking at his baby pictures. i mean being swaddled with a pacifier baby pictures. & he went on & on about what was going on at the time of each particular picture. & he was right! he remembered at such a young age.

My little sister spoke English when she was 1, 5 years old, even though we're Dutch. Mind=blown

My niece pats people on the back when they are sad or crying. So she at least knows what's going on around her.

I knew I was right! I've been telling my parents this for years. I have a photographic memory and so I can remember things from when i was younger than 1. I told them I always thought why my parents thought me to be so stupid as a baby when I was really much smarter. Finally, proof!
