Oh, this would be a dream come true. I love these guys, and the prospect of working with them would be amazing. I remember when they had a hiring call out a while back and I debated editing the footage and submitting it.

I've been a motion graphic designer and 3D generalist for over 5 years here in our local multimedia company and the prospect of working with you guys has always been my dream because I grew up watching your videos and you're one of my major inspiration throughout the years to pursue the career I'm currently in but I feel like I'm still lacking to be adequate to your work ecosystem but good luck to whoever you hire in the future I'm sure they deserve it. This is by far the best job application process I have ever seen. Everything was clear, concise and detailed. I have about 25 years experience in ms paint so I think I’ll take my qualifications somewhere else but I really appreciate how you guys go about this hiring process with the ease and accessibility to applying for those positions.

Almost 12 years ago you guys inspired me to start doing digital art on the internet, now i'm doing youtube, twitch, game development & modding, graphic design, and so much other random shit that I never would have considered had you guys, freddie & brandon hadn't done what you did. I'm gonna apply, but even if I don't make it to round 2-- know how much you guys have inspired the trajectory of my entire life.

I love how the comment section is full of unqualified, but extremely supportive folks, like myself. Would love to work with the crew, but my knowledge of film is limited to scriptwriting and production. I edited subtitles for a short film once and it took me 8+ hours. It was awful. 🤣

Edit: for anyone who hasn’t seen the series, you should. Even if you aren’t a filmmaker it really deepens your understanding of the films you watch and appreciate them.

Seriously though, i’m not ready at this point in my journey to contribute to these guys work. At the speed at which I am learning though I will be at that point very soon. When I look back at my work I was doing this time last year it amazes me how far I’ve come. Maybe next time I will compete. I honestly want to right now just for the joy of the The process but that would not be respectful to their time.
If anyone from the Corredor crew reads this, it would be awesome if you guys could do a contest. I would love to be able to do this without feeling bad about wasting your guys time. I’m not saying that out of a sense of hero worship. We are all artist here and there’s nothing wrong with being a little bit farther behind in the journey as long as were still moving forward. I just know you guys are running a business as well.

This is like my dream job. I wouldn't be doing animation/vfx today if it wasn't for you guys and freddie. Too bad I just started my own studio. Hopefully I can meet and/or work with this crew by other means someday!
