If I never watched the 4kids One Piece opening I would have never decided to watch One Piece. That song and the thought of what the one piece was stayed in mind for years that I gave it another shot the proper way.

I remember Voltron as a child. I always wondered why that character never returned. Then later in the series the princess runs into him but he never returned. It always confused me and I couldn't understand why he refused to come back. But being the 80's and no internet I never knew the truth.

Ghost Stories wasn't ruined by the dub at all. It saved a series that would have been long forgotten.

I am so glad Ghost Stories was on here but I’m surprised none of the Yu-Gi-Oh series were as well. They all had unnecessary cuts, there were lines that didn’t make sense for the scenes, and they didn’t finish dubbing GX and 5Ds.

The Pokemon Company changing the XY series openings, endings and soundtrack and replacing them with cringy and empty music

As far as "Fly Me to the Moon" being removed from the Evangelion Netflix version, I think Geoff of Mother's Basement put it well. He said that he found it interesting how, originally, each episode ended with a different seiyu singing the song (in English) repeatedly declaring love in a series where nobody can actually tell someone else that they love them.

4kids should’ve never gotten a hold of One Piece. Their dub turned it into a disaster. 💔

The only anime I’ve ever actually watched the dub before the sub was BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. The voice acting was great, the music was phenomenal even with the English lyrics and the story was awesome. Honestly highly recommend the series.

I watched Voltron as a kid and I was honestly shocked to find out how violent the original was. I’ve seen clips of the original anime on the internet and it definitely isn’t for little kids.

Funimation old DBZ dub with falcouner's circus music is literally one of the worst dub's of all time.
The cringe voice acting, the dialogue, the script changes, the non stop rock music and it's weird placement. Hand's down the worst thing America did to DBZ after DB Evolution.

As Sailor Moon fans, we all discovered Sailor Uranus is a non-binary character and Sailor Neptune is an openly bi character.

If the US media censors are not going to appreciate good anime, they should leave it alone. Keep it true to form as in art for everyone to enjoy. Spend the money on good voice dubbing if they must, if not leave it be.

1) Ghosts Stories ruined!?! The dub is a fucking masterpiece!
2) If I hadn't gotten entranced by the 4Kids intro to One Piece as a kid, I wouldn't have given the Funimation dub a chance as an adult.

Whoever did their research on the Ghost Stories dub needs their head checked. The original tanked horrendously.

The Devilman dub is perfection.

I can't hate the English version of Digimon . I LOVE the Japanese version better, but I understand the English one . They both sound good .
