Let me be the 100 th person to render comment on Angie Sutherland. As I hear Angie sing she captures tones of the Appellation Mountains coursing through the veins of her vocals, and blending the rich raw fabric of her sweet soft soul, dear heart and honest soul. A mountain angel coming home. Vocals as unique and original in character as they reflect their truth of who she is and has become because of Gods gifts and grace in her life.One cannot discount Angie’s father in the mix as he is a fantastic and prolific gospel songwriter in his own right and it is evident God has played and still plays an extremely important role in his and his families lives. The two together allow us all to escape into the wide blue yonder of the wonders of the Lords goodness richness away from the darkness of our present times sharing truth, hope and reality in a way that our lives are richer for it. I’m a fan and one day hope to be a friend.
