Beautiful woman. What a loss to the world because of that horrible illness. Thank you, Linda, for all you gave us.

My God, she was so gorgeous inside & out, & that voice!  I wore out my Heart Like a Wheel & Prisoner in Disguise records, replaced them with cassettes, then finally with CDs. She helped me make it through my early teens, I couldn't get enough of her & so many other fantastic artists too numerous to mention. I hope she can get her health issues under control.  What a class act.

*I was lucky enough to shake Linda's hand in 1977 at the Roxy (nightclub) on Sunset Blvd after Ry Cooder's show. She was in attendance with Ronnie Wood. Her picture's don't do this Goddess justice, as she's considerably even more beautiful than anyone could imagine!*

Thanks to Peter Asher (of Peter and Gordon fame) the production values on this album matched the stellar performance by Linda.

This song, her version, it's so captivating. I haven't looked it up, but I'm guessing that's J.D. on the steel guitar...I'll be back lol. I was wrong. Bob Warford, guitar solo.
