This is a very clear explanation. One thing I would recommend insisting -- because it is indeed so different from Excel -- is that you CANNOT TEST your protection, since, as the permitted user you can still edit ALL cells, and you have no warning when the cell is protected or not. That puzzled me for a while. I guess the solution to that is the "show protected cells" in the "view" menu.
Now, your presentation was very good because, at one stage, you do mention very quickly that we -- as the permitted user -- can always edit any cells. That's when I got the answer to my headache! Thanks again! :)

How would you protect a dynamic range of empty cells? For example, I have a spreadsheet linked to a drop off form that auto populates into a queue (the spreadsheet). We currently have an issue with people constantly clicking in empty cells below the data which is getting edited unintentionally, which in turn breaks a lot of the elements we have in our queue. If I can protect those empty cells, in theory we could prevent the above data from becoming corrupted from co-worker neglect.

This - like all of your videos - is great and insightful! My only concern is how to restrict editors from being able to duplicate the worksheet/tab as this creates an "unprotected" copy within the same sheet.

Not sure if anyone has a solution. Any ideas would be appreciated. 🙏
