X Plane 11 Spinning Aircraft For Fun

Flying presents many challenges and the Spin always gets peoples attention. Getting an aircraft to spin in X-Plane 11 isn't to hard and most but not all can be recovered. Try spinning the Cessna or the Robin 401 from Aerobask and you will likely get home safely but the Aerolite 103 is a totally different beast. Currently I have not survived a spin in it so I suggest you dont try.

Lets Fly VFR Flight Simulation
Lets go out in a few different aircraft and try one of the basic maneuvers you can learn so you don't crash. The flat spin is dangerous so let me also show you how to recover in your simulator.
( I am not a CFI so please see your real world CFI for instruction for real world applications)
We have probably all see TOP GUN and the deadly flat spin scene where Goose gets killed .... There are many types of spins in aircraft so to keep it simple we are just going to have a go at basic spinning and Basic recovery! Its huge fun in X Plane 11 and we don't have to worry about hitting the canopy! :)

Aircraft stalls and spins have killed so many pilots over the years .. Now is a good time to review what a spin is and how to recover. All aircraft have different characteristics. Some spin on a dime and others outright refuse to so lets see how the Lancair, Glassair and Stirman handle some poor flying.
P - Retard the throttle to idle. In most aircraft, power hampers the recovery.
A - Ailerons neutral. ...
R - Apply full opposite rudder. ...
E - Apply forward elevator. ...
D - Recover from the dive.
