200 Year Old Farm House Restoration Story

We are two young adults renovating an old house from 1817, while also having our own little farm. Everything is done ourselves with no hired help. DIY is going to apply to nearly everything in our house. We are going to be making the furniture for every room, there is so much more to come so make sure you subscribe to follow our daily lives in this farm!
So far we have 3 Goats, 4 Chickens and one Rooster.

I moved onto my property with no utilities in the middle of the winter too. For the first few weeks, I just sat in the dark and shivered. When I got electricity, it was one of the best days of my life. Every improvement since then - heat, running water, etc. - has made such an impact that I wouldn't have appreciated as much if it had all been available from the start.
