My mom is tone deaf, but she has never failed to sing to me or my two little siblings when she puts us to sleep when we're young. And despite most knowing what that means and the few who've heard her sing knowing she's not the best singer, nothing makes me calmer and happier then her voice singing lullabies like this, which I've heard her sing to both of my younger siblings. And I don't care what anyone else may say, my mother does and will always has the most beautiful voice to me, and I hope she sings to my future kids like she has with us.

This song really hits home especially because Ive had a really bad connection with my mom she was never really there for me growing up and now close to being an adult I’m still crying over the fact that I never really heard a simple “I love you” or “I’m proud of you my daughter” growing up I had to rely on myself to be strong enough to be proud of myself.
