I had to mix this pretty fast, but I guess it ended up sounding quite good. My bass tone still need some work though.

When I play this I'm also playing an open D string as well as the G, giving it a fuller sound, same as applies when you go to the D string, you play an open A string.It honestly gives it a truer sound.I've seen Hooky show it, but he never plays it that way now, try it, you'll be surprised.

I notice you're only playing single strings. The main riff is actually power chords. Hook rarely plays just a single string in this song.
