Mach3 Fixture save on shutdown. ( How to setup G54/55 etc fixture saving )

This is how to setup Mach3 to enable fixture saving upon software shutdown. This is very essential when you need to shutdown the machine overnight or for a period of time. The work offsets are retained enabling you to simply home the machine and hit cycle start and all offsets will be current as per your setup.

I was doing this but wasn't quite sure how it was configured. Thanks for the lesson. Cheers

Really good. Thank you. Soooo. Could I double-check? To make sure I understand this correctly, as my tick box is already unticked. What about re-zeroing the machine to the work piece? For example, if I did a complete controlled shut down (yellow Feed Hold button then the red Stop button), made a note of the g-code line where it stopped. Shut the whole lot down. back the following morning. Load the g-code, find the g-code line then 'Run From Here'. Would the work piece 'zero' position be saved as part of this technique? I.E. would I need to worry about re-zeroing? Is your 'offsets' the same as my 're-zero my work piece'?

Too bad you didn't do a vid to save g53 in M4. When we shut down the machine coord dros get zeroed next session. Its an awful "improvement"
