I'm an old head... I remember when they first came out.. The design had a lighting bolt in the center of the cone. The power was underrated.. Redline & Cerwin Vega were the best you could buy back then.. My cousin & his best friend used to run them with Zeus amps.. U couldn't sit in their cars

Picked up 1 DD512d-D2 12" 5 Series the other day. Haven't got the wiring and AMP yet but can't wait.. Played 2 @SoundGreat for me and they bass nice! Might grab 1 more if money isn't the issue.

ive been in a car with dual Redline 800 15's on 1500watts each sounded decent but i do believe the amps were not enough for the subs and the 1500 was inflated due to the subs having distorted slighty and the bass really not being as loud as ive heard from lesser subs i do want to hear some high quality systems in the future cause if some cheaper brand subs can sound better then this dudes system then i know a proper DD system would be amazing thanx for the vid i love buying and building systems with many different brands and in the future a DD system would be epic so yeah.

Yes im in the US but i like watching your videos especially the DD subs and well subs of all kind really if they jam but im kind of intersted in the red line series im not looking to spend a big amount of money i just want a really good sound ive had 8's 10's 12's and 15's but I think i want to go back to 10's I want to hit hard but get some good lows also with good sound quality and it would be a daily driver if you have any good advice it would be appreciated.

1512B and 712 is the same price on my local dealer. which one should i get? I only have 500 watts @ 4ohms and want to get most out of it. Low bass is the main focus.

Hi! It looks like the message option is no more available on youtube so I am writing you a question here: I want to add some bass to my car but i don't want to spend more than ~600£ on amplifier and subwoofer(s). I did a little bit of research and stopped for 2 amplifiers and 2 subwoofers: Bassface DB1.4, Inphase IPA 4001D are the amplifiers and Bassface SPL 12.2S (2 pcs with 2X4ohm coils each) and Edge EDB122SPL-E6(2 pcs with 2X4ohm coils each) are the subwoofers. Which combination from the 4 do you think is better and why? Can you also suggest me another options in my price range? Thanks a lot! BTW I whatced a lot of your videos and they are great for learning. Keep it going!

Don't tell the owner of DD but I kind of chewed his ass out for deciding to not make a 800 series which might be the reason why they are now building them LOL I've heard a pair of 818 before and compared to 715 the 800 series is wicked
