Looking forward to practicing that and trying it on a Tom I missed this past opening day, Monday. I have to work the next 12 nights but will be at it again, hot and heavy, for the late season and last 5 days of our season here in Arkansas. I did manage to call in two Jakes, with full 8 inch beards, that I hope to see again in a couple of years.

Quavers is another good soft contentment call. Read about that in the Book-Turkey Hunting/ A One Man Game by the late Kenny Morgan.
Bought his old VHS calling video and watched the Quaver section dozens of times.
3 Quick semi- soft purrs done on the edge of a Slate pot with Striker pulled towards the body.
The book describes them as yelps- but they are definitely 3 quick Purrs. I wore that VHS Tape out.
I demonstrate in my cluck + purr video that Randy filmed sideways- lol.
