Be careful replacing the wire wound AVO R1 with tiny wattage ones from maplin...there is a reason why AVO didn't use them n the first place.

excellent video ! I am an ex tv engineer of 48 years standing,  I am wondering if i can obtain a copy of your mk5 circuit diagram. of course i will pay for same . thanking you .

Quite a few issues with this video. No effort is made to determine an appropriate wattage for the replacement resistor(s). A fixed camera is used with inadequate lighting, so often the subject being discussed is invisible. The video cuts off before the actual procedure is started. No results or procedure is shown. Narrator mumbles quite a lot, making parts of the speech hard to understand.
