A special thanks to Peter Grant for casting 2 new bronze journal bearings for the 1928 Lombard dump truck. Peter made beautiful bearing and core patterns and then poured new bearings at his Odd Duck Foundry in Orrington, Maine. Total casting time was about 5 hours on a sweltering day.

Had a great day, it's always nice to have something come out right the first try! I appreciate the opportunity to help keep a very rare beastie up and running.

Makes me want to go build a foundry in my backyard. Great video. Glad to see them share their skills.

Hi When your casting BRONZE to you use a flux and if so what type. Also do you add any extra zinc, lead or other types of metal for loss when melting. The castings looked great so much better then the ones I produce. Thanks
