They’re was once a girl. A wonderful girl that I loved with all of my heart. She had white hair. Blue eyes and had a voice of an angel. Her favourite clothes where a white shirt, red skirt and a red tie.We had a childhood together and she was like my best friend. We often got teased about it in second grade up to seventh grade. We first met when we were 6 years old and we had similar interests, we both loved drawing and strangely enough, that’s how we became close friends. It started when we were about 12, i noticed it. Often she would have a sort of blush when we were alone together. And i was 14 when she started to sit even closer next to me than usual and gave me a smile I could never forget. It was the time we were 19 and it was a rainy dark night when we came back from the movies. There was pink trees surrounding us as beautiful pink leaves fell from the trees. As she was holding the umbrella and our bag, She gave that glance. That one glance. That glance that makes you have the one feeling. That feeling you get when you feel proud of yourself. And she said to me... “I.. I got some news.” I asked about it and she said she her family was moving across the country. I felt that deep cold feeling. I shivered and I looked down in sadness. I asked her when “When are you coming back?” And she wasn’t sure. It could be a year, 5 years or even 10 years. And then I realized... the possibility of never seeing her again. And she said, “it will be ok” as she lift my head back up to her. That glance she gave me stared into my eyes and it was so beautiful. She gave me her recording of her beautiful piano song she said “keep it, let it be a reminder of me.. for you.” As I walked her down to her house she said “I’m scared..” I asked why? And she replied “What of I’ll never see you again?”, I put my hand on her cheek and my other around her waist, and tears ran down my face. And as she had tears running down her face and as she put her wrists on my shoulders... we shared our first... and possibly final kiss. Those two minutes of my life I will never forget. Those pink trees, the rain, the dark and her. She will be a unforgettable piece of my heart and my life. It has been a year since. And I have not heard of her. The song and the piano remind me of her. Ive drawn an art of how I remember her. And I’ve learnt a lesson of life:

love hurts, love is love, love... is life. There’s no where else we could be in the world without someone to love us.

The Rain is peaceful...isn’t it?

It lets you relax...to make you feel calm.
It almost lulls you to sleep.
You listen to the soft pitter-patter of the droplets softly hit the ground as you lay in bed.
Covered up as you hold someone or something close.
Whether it’s a pillow, a plush toy, a loved one, or simply just the air.
You feel peaceful as you can hear the thunder in the distance.
However, it doesn’t sound threatening.
It is calm as well, unwilling to disturb the serenity around it as it adds to the calming environment instead.
The rainstorm itself almost sounds as if it begs for a song.
One that is sweet and emotional, yet quiet and soft.
One that that describe a love story without words, a poem without rhymes.
You feel heavy, but calm as you drift into a restful and lovely sleep.
For when you wake up, it will be tomorrow.
For now, rest, feel calm, listen to the sweet song, and take in every ounce of love you can.
