I will respect LG until the day I'll die for experimenting with design and formfactors of smartphones. This new budget phone looks not bad, but we need to know the price of it. If it costs more than 190$, then, i think it will be very unpopular, because it has not very small chin, it has no 90hz display (because if k42 had it, LG would say about it in video) and they said nothing about processor. I really want LG to become popular again, because this company deserves to be more popular, than it is now. My very very old lg g2 mini still work amazingly good, after all shit that happened with it. It was dropped in water and was falling a lot of times. They were making good phones back in 2013-2016. But now, if they won't try to beat opponents with good price for their smartphones, I don't think they will release new gadgets in 2022-2023

I feel like LG smartphones are very underrated which is a shame because the LG K42 has some seriously awesome specs. With a military grade certification, a quad camera setup, a huge 4, 000 mAh battery and a mediatek helio chipset, this is a very good investment at an affordable price. What is extra impressive is that LG offers a 2 year warranty which is uncommon for smartphones these days. Truly, a great device.
