Man thank you everyone showing love & support. As dancer I feel like sometimes we get too caught up in trying to look cool instead of truly dancing from the heart. Dance is a tool of expression & this time I wanted to express the bitterness in my heart from thing that I've gone through & to the future struggles I'll have to overcome, but at the end of the day you can't be bitter about your negatives or about other people's positives. You just have to do you & be the best that you can be & never forget why or who you dance for! 🙌🏽☝🏽️ to God, to the ppl, & to me because I can't see myself doing anything els but this!

My enjoyment in Fik-Shun lies mainly in his personality. Without the character, he's just another dope dancer, which goes for anyone really. It is because he shows how human he is that I find him so likable. He stays within truth.

Fik-Shun... DuShaunt... I just want you to know man, if you end up seeing this comment, that you're my biggest inspiration for so many things in life. You a huge inspiration for me to keep on trudging through my days. You're my biggest inspiration for dance alongside Michael Jackson. You inspire me to never give up. You inspire me to always try harder. You inspire me to keep trying no matter where you started from.

The amount of emotion you put into your style, the level of control and discipline you exemplify through your dancing, it all comes together in one great performance and display of your heart, and all that you are. And It's so beautiful. And it makes me want to do the same. I hope one day that I can become just a fraction of how literally unbelievable you are. I hope one day that I get to meet you, and just chill out and dance and talk and such. I hope that one day we can just take some time to connect.

I know this freestyle had a lot to do with putting one's faith in God and letting all of one's imperfections go and putting them in His hands, and although I don't identify as a Catholic of Christian anymore, I was capable of putting aside my own thoughts and beliefs and just see this entire performance as an expression of your heart, DuShaunt. And because of that, I was able to see this from your eyes. And it was so powerful, so much so that I'm at a loss for words.

 I've been watching and cheering you on constantly since right after you finished SYTYCD (Unfortunately, I didn't have cable TV, but I watched everything you did through Youtube afterwards), and I'll continue to do so no matter what, homie.

You are a huge reason as to why I am still here. You are a huge reason as to why I dance. And you are a huge reason as to why I want to become great someday. Thank you for all that you've done for me, and for the rest of the world. You are a gem. You are a legend. You are a masterpiece.

It was quite a miracle how i came across this video. Was just looking through some fikshun videos to keep my mind occupied cuz i was going thru some tough times, never thought he would be the spiritual type. But i guess i was wrong. I find its quite amazing how God speaks to us, and personally i felt He spoke to me thru this vid. Love the dance moves! keep it up! 😁

Man, you dance in a truly inspirational form for me, i hold my tears watching this dance, the song, the meaning, the dance, your words, it all gets me, makese feel like i can be understood, i'm just a beginner in dance (been barely doing it for three years now) and I have had so many struggles and problems with myself while doing it, but you, you inspire me to do so much more, this comment you made, made me remember why i dance, and it's great to see you are like this, you are great, love you man, great things await you, thanks for reminding me what I dance for, and how i should do it, really thank you :')
