Спят курганы тёмные (Cover) - Nguồn Thiêng

A bet to learn a Russian song without knowing the language.
On April 24, 2013 - My friend, Igor O. had challenged me to learning a Russian folk song (Спят курганы тёмные) and in turn, he would learn a Vietnamese Trịnh Công Sơn song (Một Cõi Đi Về). It was a Wednesday - not sure how it happened, but I was also on a flight to Donetsk that Friday morning. Good times.
Earlier this week (of 02/08/2020), I found out that Google Translate does phonetic translation for Cyrillic alphabet now. In any case, it took 7 years, but I win, Igor. It's time you stand on a table to admit your defeat!
This song always make me think of Donetsk & all the friends I've made at nCrypted Cloud/e-Share. Thanks, Dima D. & Viktoriya D. for making me feel welcomed there. You were right, Dima, my house has more Ukrainian decorations than Vietnamese decorations now!
