In order to access this now in Serato in the UI you need to explicitly turn on the Beat Jump controls from the settings. If you're using a controller with a performance pad [ROLL] mode (such as the DDJ-SR), the bottom-left and bottom-right buttons will perform a beat jump by the number of beats indicated. The bottom-center-left and bottom-center-right performance pads will change the number of beats that the beat jump will perform.

Thanks! I had this feature but lost it when I moved computers. I knew there was a setting and it clicked when you said beat jump.

My rane 62 mixer is malfunctioning. Has anyone else experienced when you move the cross fader to the left the wave form of the track highlights in light blue because the number 8 loop turns on the same time with the orange loop in control button? If I slide the cross fader back and forth the orange loop control button flickers and goes off sometimes until I touch or bump the cross fader again.

I'd rather have that where you can slightly adjust it if it was off due to your beat grid.

thanx for the dope tip man! Btw. do you know how to record live loops? I use Rane 72 and i would like to make all skratch loops.Is there any chance to record and layer loops?

how do you make the loop roll crash by it self. I don't remember the hot keys on the computer. I forgot it, the function made you loop and it decreased by itself anyone know the short cut keys

Shift and loop parameter buttons also do this

DJS who actually take the time to use their software, and hardware rather than pressing play, and sync probably already know this. Ive known this tidbit for a while already. Thanks for the tips though.
