Christmas present to myself. I have mostly played Chieftain low D whistles since '98. I have owned other low whistles (Copeland, Alba, Dixon, Susato) but haven't really gotten on with them as much as the Chieftain, so they never got significant play time. Right away, I've taken a liking to the MK Pro, and it will probably become my main low D

Thanks for the review, I have two low Ds I'm not happy with (one's pvc and the other's very quiet) and this one is the one I want. I have to sell my others first though!

The new Chieftain V5 is just great. They do a V5 Custom now too. MK are great as well but rather more expensive.

MK Pro is the low D to With A Dave Shaw on a par, them probably a Shearwater, I can find no place for a Chieftain in my collection
