Florida couple stuck on cruise ship bound for Fort Lauderdale with dozens of sick passengers

Central Florida residents Laura Gabaroni and her husband, Juan Huergo, left Orlando earlier this month on what was supposed to be a 14-day cruise through the southern tip of South America. But since Sunday, the 48-year-old couple has been confined to their cabin and not sure when their rollercoaster adventure will end.

It's really sad that people are not paying attention to what's going on with this virus. Why are these people still taking cruises???☹ Now they're stuck in the water, and no one wants to let them in. These hospitals are dealing with so much already. Please stay home until we get through this!!!

Im in the US & knew on March 4 that going on a cruise ship could be deadly. I’m sorry...but Florida did not take this seriously

That is the the fault of the people that decided to go in the cruise ship. People have been warned by they went on the cruise ship any so this would be their one faults.

They could see how it was going, and it was obviously precarious, but chose to have a long holiday in a cruise ship, with lots of old people. They are adults and made their choice. The cruise company also has a part to blame.

How stupid. I don't even cruise and knew about the horrid fate of the Diamond Princess. These people were selfish. Don't have a thought for the ports that they landed in where they could be infecting cities filled with innocent people?we are all suffering right now why should we give special thought to these people that thought they could go and have fun while the world was on lockdown. I say leave them at sea
