Sure a new employee could say they know spreadsheets, but check which version. They might not know Microsoft Excel, they might have been trained and been a wizard on Supercalc 1. If you don’t know Supercalc is older than the internet.

I am one of those who checked out your site. I would rather see a commercial from you than some of the others that pop up.

Often with cabling, I'd hook stuff up with the idea that I'd clean it up later. But often later would never come

Lucy's hamster died. You know, the hamster on the wheel that drives mechanisms in her head. Yeah, it died.

I had a coworker who also owned a sign maintenance company. They would install business signs, fix lighting in the signs, etc. For that they needed access to the breaker box, which for restaurants, was nearly always in the kitchen. He had been in just about every restaurant kitchen in the area. When I asked, he gladly told me which kitchens were clean, and which were filthy. What he told me really surprised me. A very good Mexican restaurant, he said, was the cleanest kitchen he had ever seen. Work surfaces wiped down immediately after cutting up food. Floor clean as could be, etc. And he told me the worst. It was in a top rated restaurant that really surprised me. "I'd never bring my family to go eat there. Never!"

I'm afraid to say I met people like Lucy working in food service. I don't know what her situation is, but from my experience it sounds like she was just rock stupid. The saddest things is that the ones that are too dumb to train are usually super sweet, so it hurts when you realize there's no way they'll last. They usually end up filtering down to jobs like what I had, the dead simple jobs where you essentially get pity-hired in a position where you can't slip much farther down the economic ladder, and then people who can barely distinguish left and right end up being entrusted with following health and safety procedures at a restaurant. Not a great situation.

After yelling at me after I'd cleaned the area & there's an obvious difference from the rest of the kitchen, I'd have called the health inspector.

When there's a lock on the switchboard/fusebox WHATEVER electrical thing, you do NOT remove it, dad is an electrician, he has a box of "under maintenance DO NOT TURN ON" signs and padlocks, whenever he works with something, he puts it on the switches, outlets or whatever else he has disconnected, one of the signs says something like "if you turn this on you BETTER HOPE I DIE FROM IT OR I WILL BEAT YOU EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW".

The worst story he has heard about something like this, a guy was doing some work in a factory, he was down in a big mixing vat fixing stuff, he had put a sign on the switchboard but some idiot who either could not read or didn't understand what "UNDER MAINTENANCE, DO NOT TURN ON" means saw the machinery wasn't on and it was close to when it was normally being used (even through it was not planed to be used that day), so he turned it on, it was NOT a pretty sight.

Completely fine with you sponsoring yourself. It would also feel more relevant than some random ad, so go for it!

Absolutely. Would love to see your sponsorship. Go for it, uncle.

I know one U-tuber that places their ads at the end of the video. At the beginning of the video, he announces that there is a promotion at the end. When the video gets to that point, he announces you should leave now if you don't want to watch the promotion. Sometimes I stay and sometimes I don't.

Go for your own ads ;) fully support it.
