Pointer Sisters ~ Neutron Dance 1983 Disco Purrfection Version

I was planning this for later on this month, but now that Anita Pointer has passed away, the first loss of 2023. So sad, they brought me so much joy on the dance floor throughout the years. Sorry to break the bad news.

Neutron Dance was a single pulled from their Breakout LP that made them even more popular by concentrating on high energy dance music and man they sure burned it down. The incredible harmonies seemed tailor made for the music that producer Richard Perry created for them.

The song was also included in the Beverly Hills Cop movie which helped the song reach #6 on the Hot100.

Yes, yes, yes!!! Pointers were one of the best back in the 70’s and 80’s. So sad about Anita’s passing, but Ruth stands to carry on. As the other 3 all had LP’s as solo artists, would love to see one from Ruth. ❤️❤️❤️
