Israel-Hamas War: US, Egypt and Qatar working to broker Gaza ceasefire deal with no success

The United States has been trying to broker a diplomatic deal between Israel and Hamas, with the help of Egypt and Qatar. But there has been no success so far, with many now seeing little hope of a negotiated solution. Caroline Malone reports from Washington.
