From the beginning, I’ve been saying that this CP system is systematically broken. From the main stream games some Pokémon with extremely low CP were actually usable in-game, post game and for the Meta. The different cups in PVP mode is probably the only thing that keeps other Pokémon relevant for right now. I bet if they added strategic move set like sing, hypnosis, Thunder Wave, Sword dance, It may change the meta-game Dramatically

i originally saw how broken Eternatus in pokemon go would be from kingofcharmanders. it has a pretty good pvp moveset. i remember in 2019 swsh leak season, people though a leak that would turn out to be gmax grimmsnarl was etarnatus. it didn't show the face but it looked really cool. current eternatus also looks cool. there's theories of it being tied to arceus. like arceus' shadow

Eternamax Eternatus is an unobtainable form of Eternatus. It is only encountered in the main games as an opponent. There is no way to use it in the main games hence it will never be obtainable in Pokemon GO.

I feel like eternamax eternatus is sort of not meant to be caught and used so probably not coming to the game
