Thinking about starting a savings account to go in 2 years for the 50th anniversary.. So crazy its really been 50 years already since the Doors were at their prime... Time is so crazy, i wasn't even alive and it seems insane its really been 50 years

I was there in October 1989. Walking into the Perelachaise is like walking into 19th century. The place was shrouded in fog which gave it an eerie air. The cemetery is huge. Literally a different world. There were a few people huddled around the shrine. The smell of hash wafted in the air. All I remember is a young girl sitting there with a world-weary air. Probably stoned and probably pondering the mystery of life/death. I will never know who she was or where she came from. Maybe she is a mom somewhere with her kids now grown up. I cannot know. This is the mystery of life. But here I was at the grave of the doomed rock star/poet of the 1960's. Here he lay this Rimbaud of the music world once an unfettered spirit who became a modern romantic figure. Eventually his life was subdued by the tyranny of reality which is unforgiving to those who dont conform or accept its diktats. But his spirit and his music still survive after all those years with its siren call 🏛🎸🎭

"Very good video, too bad it's very expensive to go from Brazil to Perlachecer in Paris, so it's good to watch this kind of video. Hugs from the Brazilians there, long live The Doors, one of the greatest bands in history."

sad....so sad. the weeping off camera got me. if you look back, say the beatles, Paul and John were envious and egotiscal. remember after John died, Paul wanted to change in credit songwriting be McCartney/Lennon instead of Lennon/McCartney. These guys Ray, John and Robby geninuely love and respected Jim. Fuck sake, I miss these guys
