I would definitely highly recommend watching the movies they’re good even with the little quirks from prequel still it’s a masterpiece of a story Except for the sequel trilogy that’s a mess

Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back.

Episode 7: The Force Awakens.
Episode 8: The Last Jedi.
Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.

Some people watch them like, 4 5 6, 1 2 3, 7 8 and 9. But if you want to understand the full story. Watch them like 1 2 3, 4 5 6, 7 8 9.

Basically the time Darth Maul was around Anakin Skywalker (Who later becomes Darth Vader) was a child, Brookyln basically replaced Obi Wan-Kenobi with himself due to them both having ginger hair. Obi Wan-Kenobi and his master Qui Gon Jinn fights Maul and Qui Gon Jinn dies which causes Obi Wan-Kenobi to go in a blind rage, get pushed off the edge, fly back up and cut Maul in half. Maul came before Vader.

I highly suggest you watch the movies and even The Clone Wars if you can, if you want to get full lore watch The Phantom Menace, Attack Of The Clones and and then The Clone Wars TV show and THEN Revenge Of The Sith.
