If Park Shin Hye is not the main lead, then don't even think of making season 2....she is the heart of the series and she is the one I look for every short I see....if she is not there, there is no heirs for viewers and the two mainleads too

I watched it for Lee Minho and the mute mother. He has some powerful charisma and she is great in everything. The story was ordinary and though similar to boys over flowers in some ways (poor girl and rich boy) was nowhere near as addictive.

it seems to be canon for some people for some reason - the only thing I got out of it was a real appreciation for Kim Woo-bin, and the surprise that bangs can make such a difference in the handsomeness level of Lee Min-ho

Hang in there until the scene shifts to Seoul. The drama hasn’t aged particularly well and current viewers are quick to label it toxic but it’s packed full of all the tropes you will ever encounter in your kdrama life. Guilty pleasure perhaps but I actually like it despite its obvious flaws.

The hiers was the first kdrama i watched last year. I realised many of the cast have become big stars now. I didnt realise kim ji won was the girl in queen of tears at first.

Don’t watch it for the quality plot but the legacy it has left behind for all the kdrama viewers across the globe.

It was my first drama and I don’t regret that at all. It was a full on drama with so many tropes and horrible characters but it entertained me thoroughly. Highly recommend.

I watched it solely to see Krystal but there are some nice parts! It's a good one for those just beginning kdramas or maybe if you're a high school student (I watched when I was 17). But if you've already seen other school dramas and whatnot, it can be a little predictable. I tried to watch it again (25 yrs old now) but I skip to the episodes I liked lol
