An old miner in our town lived very close to the oldest cemetery in the area... nobody else did. It was a lonely place, except for funerals or decoration day, yet the man remained. The miner stayed because his twin brother, who died long ago when they were very young, was buried there. Every day of his life, the miner visited that grave. Sick or well, he visited. No matter what the weather was like. He never missed a day. He tidied the grave and tenderly stroked the stone lamb on top of the marker and he talked to his brother. And if you happened to be close, you'd hear him murmur something along these lines: "There, there, little feller. Don't you fret none. I ain't ever going to go from you. I'm always going to be right here".

This channel is NEVER boring. The subject is well researched, and the narration is well paced, clear and great inflection according to the subject. Change nothing! (except the background 😉)

John Renie's tombstone reads. Here lies John Renie. Starting from the center. And it just Repeats it self in a pattern.

I loved the video and the great info but I must say, I have one criticism-- the repetitive, annoying, background noise. It was super frustrating because I was enjoying the content but that background music made me want to scream. Otherwise, great show. Thanks again

An extra grave found in a parking lot. That of king Richard the 3rd something for you to look into

I feel like John Renie’s grave is just his name written over and over again in both sensical and non-sensical waves. Cuz the only letters are those belonging to his name. I may have to do this when I did as my obituary 😂

With so much room on either side of little Florence's grave, I'm surprised here parents weren't buried on either side of her.

Brilliant and really enjoyable as well as very informative...EXCEPT....that background noise is very annoying and distracting. Please more videos but NO background noise.!!

Enjoyed your video here in the UK thank you. Love these unusual headstones especially these cryptic ones. Only guessing about the 3 picture symbols & what they mean, but the 1st one could be = TIME FLIES? the 2nd = REIGNING CHAMPION (looks like water falling into a trophy cup)? THE 3RD = WELL TRAVELLED?. Probably not even close but it was fun guessing & maybe that was this Gentleman's intention, to keep people guessing while also giving out some wise advice?.

The inscriptions on James Leeson’s grave are written in a cypher called Rosicrucian. Translated, it reads, “XNINIENXKNBAW”. Whether it’s a code, anagram or gibberish - who knows?
