Things every artist should/might know:
1) Smudging your finger or Q-tip on pencil makes this really cool shaded effect
2) Sketching is probably the best way for art (Unless you do nature drawings)
3) Mixing paints is better than using the colors you're given (Only with good colors comes good custom colors)
4)Finding a muse (That's someone you can draw, basically a model, And of course unless you do original paintings)
5) When drawing eyes, ALWAYS do the first step on that one eye and the other, that way the two eyes are identical
