So well produced and narrated. Well done. Best quality I have seen on YouTube.

Great video Glenn, I have had both your DVDs for some time now, and refer to them often, sometimes to check on technique, and sometimes just for the sheer enjoyment of watching you work at your passion.
Take care
Mike

Just found your channel from a few other turners here on YouTube. Very cool! Thank you for sharing. Love the shop.

My mother had a wooden salad bowl for many years. When she used it she would clean it afterward and then lightly coat it with a cooking oil to prevent the wood from drying out. She loved using that bowl.

I feel like this is production perfection... like this is the gold medal of the olympics... the gold standard! Now where do they go from there?? Hotels?? Amazing quantity!

I have been fortunate enough to have taken two, one week classes with Glenn. It's hard to say that one class was more beneficial than the other because in each class I learned something, some insight, some thought process, some reason, something new every day. I would take another class from him in a heartbeat. I'd also like to add, like nearly every one else who has ever taken a class from Glenn, I consider him a friend.

Glenn is an amazing artist and a master at production.  If you have an opportunity to take a class from him I highly recommend it.  It was a great experience

Nicely done. You are very Irish indeed from your accent and I see from your website you're SW of Dublin on the other side of the Wicklows. Live there some 20 years ago on a work assignment. A highlight of my working career. When I return next to the Auld Sod, I'll need to look you up for a bit of instruction. Cheers.

Great Youtube master Glenn.  Anyone that does not have your DVD's is missing great learning, great music and photography.  You mastered two of the three.  I doubt you have musical skills but was smart enough to pick the right artist.

So its a Pink wheel for sharpening. Having had a Coronet No3 for many years in storage I decided it was high time I had a play again. I had it given around 92 I think. I turned a Oak goblet in 96 as a little go on it before it went into storage. I was given some turning tools by another guy who picked them up at a car boot sale. I've been sharpening them on a fine grey wheel that came on my 8" bench grinder but thought it should be a white wheel, Glad I came across this video Glen.  I've just turned another Goblet from a log I put in with the lathe bits back in 96. It looks well but I can't remember if its a Hawthorn bush or an Apple tree log from a tree I chopped down for a friend back then with the chain saw. It does look well however and was quite soft wood. Next I need to learn about sealant finishes as people who want them now want to be able to drink from them. I see I have some way to go and a lot to learn. Loving it so far and Yes! I should never have put it away for so long.
