Doomsday storm hits Argentina! Huge hailstones are devastating the city of Villa Mercedes!

A severe thunderstorm with large hail hit the city of Villa Mercedes in the Argentine province of San Luis on Thursday evening.
The area has been declared an orange alert.
The brutality of the event was also reinforced by the shape of the fallen hailstones.
They had dangerous spikes that could cause serious damage.
The thunderstorm coincided with the celebration of the first day of the national festival, which was attended by about 7,000 people.
For this reason, local authorities arrived at the scene to help the victims at the height of the storm.
Several people lost consciousness, many people received head cuts as a result of hailstones.
The injured were taken to medical centers for treatment.
Unfortunately, one man in his 70s died of cardiac arrest.
Parked cars were severely damaged by hailstones.
Also, windows in houses and buildings were broken, a large number of trees were felled, and there were power outages.

I thought it was something major. Heck, they get hailstorms like that in Brisbane and a lot of places in Australia every couple of years. The hailstones are generally the size of golf balls up to the size of oranges. The above wasn't particularly impressive, apart from some spiky hailstones. I've seen the hail piled up to knee level in a couple of Brisbane suburbs, looking like snow.
