As someone who works at a reputable worldwide hotel chain there's other tools to open a door that's deadbolted and latched at the top. The hotel itself will have a tiny key that acts exactly like a normal door key but will disengage the deadbolt from the outside and i've always imagined if someone knew what they were doing they could possibly imprint a homemade key to do the same thing. As for the little latch opener you didnt quite get to work, we use a similar one regularly that we only got recently, maintenance used an unbent wire hanger for months before that and its very simple.

All my life I felt watched, like it's probably even a mental issue thing, but now that I'm an adult I'm like 'there is literally nothing interesting or entertaining about me so if someone or some ones want to go to all the trouble of planting cameras just to watch me flop around boringly, that's their problem and I hope they can get refunds for the cameras when they realize there's nothing worth watching.

The first product, the little brass keys that were also sold as door openers, only open a specific type of interior house lock usually used on bedrooms/bathrooms. They're not meant for picking locks!

from what i've heard, these hidden cameras are an especially bad problem in south korea, with perverts trying to record women in private situation (using a restroom, i don't want to name other situations, but you can guess 🤮)
