What’s the Scary Movie about?
Starring Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans and Shannon Elizabeth, Scary Movie is a send-up of today's most popular horror movies. Watch a familiar-looking group of teenagers finding themselves being stalked by a more-than-vaguely recognizable masked killer. As the victims begin to pile up and the laughs pile on, none of your favorite scary movies escape the razor-sharp satire of this outrageously funny parody. Everything begins when one night, 18-year-old Drew Decker (Carmen Electra) receives a threatening phone call while home alone. She is then chased outside by somebody dressed as Ghostface, who ends up stabbing her and slitting her throat. Following this tragedy, Cindy Campbell (Faris) realizes that Drew was murdered exactly one year after she and her friends accidentally killed a man.

Early 2000’s comedy films were something else. Scary Movie, White Chicks, Kung Fu Hustle, Soul Plane, Team America: World Police, Nacho Libre, the Chucky sequels, and the Rush Hour movies were not afraid to do the most randomized slapstick humor
