Three Days in Scotland

We came to the UK for a film festival in London, and after five exciting days (Late nights and late mornings! High heels and fancy dinners!) we are ready for three days of relaxing in Scotland (Castles! Pubs! Men in Kilts!) before we head off to Paris for the finale of our European Vacation, coming soon…

I loved the scenery. The music never been there so pretty. A girl left a man heart. I love going to Old cemeteries and reading the headstones. My sister does too and my earlier years I would have thought it was cryptic but I love it! 🩷

I sometimes walk through cemeteries too - I read the head stones the birth & death dates the epitaphs it is very sobering - in New York at St Patrick’s cathedral cemetery a tombstone epitaph read ‘as you are now so once was I As I am now you soon will be ‘ very true and very haunting

Heading back in July. I’m in two bagpipe bands so it’s the Motherland for me especially during the annual tattoo. As a 64 yr old woman 14:40 who’s 1/2 Scottish traveling Ireland & Scotland are my favorite places in the world.
