If scourge appears in sonic prime he would reveal to sonic that he's an alternate version of sonic similar to this

Scourge: Hello Sonic! (Appears from the shadows)
Sonic: YOU AGAIN! I don't know why you're here but you won't get the shard

Sonic battles Scourge but Scourge easily takes him down and tries to reavel his identity to him

Scourge: Haven't you already figured out who I am?
Sonic: NO! and I'm pretty sure I don't want to cause your not getting the shard or hurting my friends

Sonic tries to fight him but Scourge spin dash him to the ground shattering crystals in the ground

Scourge: Your so difficult sonic but you know I was like you once as a matter of fact I was once you

Sonic: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

Scourge explains who he is and explains his backstory while breaking shards reaveling other universes with sonic and many of his friends

Scourge: You see sonic I was just like you once a hero a jokster and a friend to all but then my parents had to discover that paradox prism my father was so ignorant tried to take the prism for himself and my mother

But his selfish needs made him shatter the prism leaving my world into a waste land as I grew I tried to fix my world while stopping Eggman but there was no hope for us to do it

But then I thought instead of saving the world I can rule it so I took the prism and took over my dimension and put my friends in slavery

But then I discovered that the prism can travel to different worlds and instead of ruling one world I can rule many and destroy them starting with you cause the hero inside me is no more

Sonic: Your not a different being from another universe YOU ARE!...

Scourge: SONIC!....

A prism shatters as it flash and reveals that Scourge is an alternate version of sonic

Scourge: And I don't mean it in theoretically or retoricly or poetically or in any other basic way I'm you...
