I clicked the second i saw Mavis in the thumbnail, Mavis is one of my all time favorite vampire characters!!!...in fact i think on some level Mavis has become one of the most iconic female vampires of all time...at least to me she is!

Okay, thoughts in observed order:
6. The Hunger...sexy movie.
5. Near Dark...a seriously underrated film.
4. Fright Night...loved it.
3. Bram Stokers Dracula...not solid? I thought they (no pun intended) nailed it.
2. Hammer Dracula...loved it because that version of Dracula was petty, vindictively petty.
1. Though not observed and mainly a tv show, it was also a film (House of Dark Shadows), to which Jonathan Frid's vampire Barnabas Collins takes the creepy crown for me.
