Midjourney is far too complex and irritating to use. Meta wins hands down because it is so easy to use. More people will use it because of that and it will win because of that. Who wants to connect to Discord to do graphics? What were they thinking?

I am definitely not an expert, but I have noticed that you really have to use only the most basic prompts with meta, as of now, it can't give you anything customizable. Very frustrating

I hear Nikon has a firmware update (leak) Q1 2024 that will add AI to the Z8/Z9 that enables it to correct your photo at the time it’s taken. It uses ML to capture your style and typical subjects.

In the past month I changed from Nikon to Canon at considerable cost. I was aware of this AI business but had not bothered to look it up, or try to use it. After watching this I am sitting here wondering if there is any point in my trying to take portraits that make the subject look their best, or general photos with interesting angles, etc. It seems between generative AI and Photoshop combining of stock images there is no reason to own a camera.
