Muslim family targeted in fatal hit and run

Terrorism charges are possible against the suspect in a fatal hit and run in London, Ontario. A Muslim family of five was out for a walk last night when they were struck by a pickup truck. As Adrian Ghobrial reports, a witness describes the scene.

The lady who was eye witness in this interview is full of sadness and empathy. She feels what most of us are feeling. It is horrific and tragic to see such heartless violence towards another human being, let alone a whole family out together for a walk. I am so sorry for this family, the little boy who is now and orphan and the whole community.

Solomon was a physiotherapist who treated residents in long term care homes. He was a wonderful, gentle and caring man who was so proud to live in Canada.

I'm curious why the police think this crime was racially motivated. I mean, I'm sure it was, but I haven't heard it reported as to why they think it's racially motivated.

It's not impossible the killer is a non-racist psycho.

I used to drive through that intersection all the time on my way to go ride horses at a horse farm on the outskirts of London. Hearing this tragic news is completely heartbreaking and makes me realise how scary the world can be. May the victims rest in peace and may they get the justice they deserve. It's so horrifying.
