I watched this movie many years ago and didn't quite understand it, but I recently watched it again and those messages and stories really stuck with me. I developed new perspective and learned to appreciate this movie a lot more...I guess my growth and maturity gave me more capacity to understand this movie deeper now. Very touched by so many quotes in this movie.

I honestly believe that Chungking Express would work just as well if the two parts were inverted.
The second one is the most vaguely comforting ending I've seen in a film.
The first one is the most precious and bittersweet moment of human connection I've seen in a film.
I can never decide on what note I want it to finish.
