the worst is when you lose your stop loss is hit by one dollar and then goes to the right position, this has happened to me 5 times in a row now, cant belive how it just kisses the stop loss and goes again in the right direction, half of account blown.

This video hasn't just helped, I think it's the key to take me to the next level in my trading. Two fantastic analogies and I'm sure the sporting one is how I've been seeing things considering my complete disregard for further consequences when I start to take drawdown. My size starts going wayyyy up in an attempt to get back to where I was so I don't have to confront the losses emotionally but that only leads to lower quality trading and a deeper hole.

Now I know that when I start to take drawdown I must accept my losses and acknowledge that the best play is to pull out of the current [losing] battle and REGROUP so I can win the war.

Great video. Thanks, I have been trying to learn day trading for a cpl of years. I have just gone from demo to real money and doing quite well so far. But still feel gutted when I have a losing day. Its easy to trade more and lose more when you are down.

I’m shit at trading. All I do is lose.. I hesitate and fail to pull trigger on pull back entry points time and time again and watch what would have been winners go parabolic… and the ones I do enter on are not pull backs but reversals. Time and time again this happens. I’ve lost 40% of my account in 1 month. Fuck this.. I’m doing my best.. logging, learning, everything but now it’s all gone to shit. The first 30 trades I had a 58% success rate. The last 20 has been severe drawdown and now my success rate is at 39%. Absolutely horrible feeling.. not only is it the money but it’s the time, the effort, the determination.. all for what? To just continually lose. I think I need to be honest and admit I’m not very good at this. Psychologically and emotionally it’s gotten to me now. I can take a few losses. We all can. But the last 20 trades I’ve lost 14
