Enhancing the analysis of timber structures with Eurocode 5
Your workflow can improve around verification and optimization of timber element structures according to Eurocode 5 (EC5).
Design of spaced rectangular sections by EC5 – You can now verify timber beams and columns from compound profiles (consisting of two, three or four rectangular section branches) according to EN 1995-1-1.
Verification of bearing pressure on the support by EC5 – You can now perform additional verification for timber elements. You can also check compression perpendicular to the grain by support sizes, according to EN 1995-1-1 (6.1.5).
Verification of beams with a notch at the support acc. EC5 – You can now perform additional verification for timber elements and check the notch on element ends, according to EN 1995-1-1 (6.5).
Optimization of timber elements according to deflection (EC5) – You can now automatically select the optimal timber section due to the deflection condition, according to EN 1995-1-1.
