The Albigensian Massacre | Episode 9 | Lineage

Now, we explore the Albigensians. Much like the Waldensians who remained true to God's word, the Albigensians had a similar faith based in Southern France. During the reign of Pope Innocent III, at the start of the 13th century, numerous groups were persecuted, and in particular the Albigensians. Over a 20-year period, the Pope attempted to wipe out the faithful, Bible believing worshippers in Southern France.

I just discovered your YouTube channel from Dustin of Hope through Prophecy channel. I love your work and the information you give. I went from episode 1 to episode 18 tonight, and I can’t wait to watch the rest. I am French and I didn’t even know about the events that happened in Béziers. They don’t teach this kind of historical events at school. But that shows that it is always good to learn for ourselves. The Biblical sect of the Medieval period was the Waldensians not the Albigensians. Neither should have been persecuted but the Albigensians were Gnostics, or if you prefer Dualists. As such they would not have held to a proper view of the incarnation which is the foundation of the Christian religion.
