Visiting Shakespeare's Globe was one of the best experiences in my life. Thank you!

Me and my mom were at the grand opening of The Globe Theater in June 1997. In fact, our seats were only about 20 feet away from the Queen herself that night.
My mom also bought 3 of those name stones that go along the outside of the theater. One with her name, my name, and my dad’s name who had passed away years before.
My mom was very involved in Chicago with the fundraising for The Globe throughout the 90’s. It was such a huge passion for her.
Unfortunately, my mom now is very sick and I think I’m going to lose her soon. I just wanted to pay tribute to her here and say that the Globe Theater has always been so special to her and one day I’ll come back here with my kids and show them those name stones and tell them how their Nannan helped build this place.
I love you mom ♥️

I recently saw my first show at the Sam Wannamaker theater. It was, in a word: magical. ❤
