This is actually a Stephen King short story called "Trucks", it was filmed in 1997 in a Quarry in Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦. Right across from my Aunties farm. It was amazing to see how the limestone quarry was turned into this fabulous movie set. The quarry was privately owned at the time by the neighboring farm. On the west side there are railway tracks that we used to walk down and sneak peaks of the movie set. This brought back memories, 😅 I still live in the area and you wouldn't know its there now a days. ❤

this is one heck of a movie, no big budget, big cast and tech, just brilliant camera work, lighting, editing and acting, every frame is intense, what a movie is all about. Better than Spielberg's War of the Worlds ( on Youtube right now ), honestly!

Ακόμα θυμάμαι τον τίτλο της ταινίας ' MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE ', νομίζω ότι η ταινία γυρίστηκε στην Αυστραλία . Τότε ήταν μία από τις καλές ταινίες τρόμου . Ευχαριστούμε για τους Ελληνικούς διαλόγους ! . I Googled unknown (to me) movies on YouTube first before watching. This movie is titled "Trucks", a TV movie made in 1997. The imdb rating is 3.9, based on a Stephen King's short. A reviewer said that this was the funniest movie they've ever seen (because it was so horrible it became a hilarity), while others truly hated it because it was basically a toned down "Maximum Overdrive" (1986) by Stephen King, because it was made for TV. So less gore and all the craziness in the previous one. 😊
