Does God Wish that No One Would Perish? (2 Peter 3:9)

Actually, this video says the exact opposite of what God's Word says. His Word very clearly states "He is not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL would come to repentance" This means that God doesn't want ANYONE to go to hell. However, people have free will to choose to reject God regardless of His wishes.

The comments disagreeing with this video are only proving how offensive the true gospel of Jesus Christ is. It's meant to be. It's meant to convict and bring to total repentance and surrender. It goes against our sinful natures and our pride. This video was a faithful exegesis of the text and I thank you for it Gabe.

I almost misunderstood what he was saying. Yes of course God wants us to go out and share the gospel with as many people as possible. God wants people to choose to serve him, but not all people will. I guess there is some sort of belief that Jesus won't come back until every single person living on earth has accepted him as their Lord and Savior.

You’re wrong on this video. If the elect are already forgiven for their sins at the Cross which is what scripture teaches that all that call upon the name of the Lord will be saved from going to Hell and are saved and so therefore, there’s no way you can lose salvation if you’re the elect as you put it. But everyone that has not believed on the Father is condemned already. Salvation = belief + nothing. We don’t do good works to maintain salvation but because we want to because we been redeemed
